"Cutting is something that is so taboo and that people don’t talk about. It’s something that you can physically see on someone, you can physically see their pain, it freaks people out, and they don’t know what to do and they don’t know how to talk about it and it’s uncomfortable." — Demi Lovato. "Go where the pleasure is in your writing. Go where the pain is. Write the book you would like to read. Write the book you have been trying to find but have not found. But write. And remember, there are no rules for our profession. Ignore rules. Ignore what I say here if it doesn’t help you. Do it your own way. Every writer knows fear and discouragement. Just write. The world is crying for new writing. It is crying for fresh and original voices and new characters and new stories. If you won’t write the classics of tomorrow, well, we will not have any." — Anne Rice (via larmoyante)

Sometimes I miss you. But it’s the old you i missed, the one i was friends with who wasn’t completely toxic to my life. We were so close and had so much fun and I actually felt safe in our friendship. Then you went and fucked it up, because you are fucked up and now here I am scared to trust people again. So thanks for that. But it is still upsetting how sometimes, randomly, I miss you.

"But right now everything looks strange to me, as if I don’t belong here. It’s me that’s out of place. And the worst thing is that I feel there’s somewhere I do belong, but I just can’t find it." — The Awakening, L. J. Smith (via infjconfessions)
